More than just scribbles

Art is more than just a paintbrush on a canvas. Art is using creativity to make a masterpiece! From Van Gogh's Starry Night to my little doodles there is a HUGE difference. But sometimes just the simplest things can turn out to be more than what they seem.

This may be just a little doodle of a dog, but look at it closer and you  can see it may mean something😍. Remember to always believe in yourself and your art and also......

How it all began...

I started to fall in love with art when I was about 4 or 5. I would draw things I saw and things I heard about. I also drew lots of animals.Later on in the third grade I joined an art club! Below is an image from one of the projects.

It's a unicorn! Of course I liked other things as well like video games and T.V but drawing was always something I loved to do and it still is.

Drawings over the years..

For years now I have been drawing and drawing and...oh you get the idea! I mostly drew ponies and other things like that. Over the years I have also gotten better and better! Below is a drawing from about 2 years ago..

It's my made-up pony called Starry Spark! Yes I know what your thinking "Wow that's sloppy!"but I was only 7 and that's what 7 year old's do. (also I drew this with scented marker.) I will update this blog with more recent drawings later,but for now i'm showing you old ones. just remember to keep drawing and....

Another day, Another drawing..

Every day I come up with new things to draw. Just today my sister and I held a drawing contest!(Of course it was not really fair because i'm nine and she is 6!) but we still had fun! Nothing really surprises me more then seeing her art as well. I'ts amazing! Here is a drawing from one of our themes, Littlest pet shop!

Cool right? I'm kinda into lots of stuff currently but I could never EVER stop loving drawing!

Hey There, World!

I'm Betty! I'm a 9 year old girl from Wisconsin. My mom and I worked on this project together. Since I was 4 I have been in love with art. I draw lots of things including Animals,My Little Pony,Littlest pet shop, and much, much more! Above is a drawing of a cat for my art teacher!
